10 spoilers for the Smallville seaon 8 finale - Doomsday

We don't watch TV in our family. We do watch DVDs. And I admit to watching TV series only AFTER they come out on DVD. In that way, I can escape the commercials.

One of my favorites is Smallville. I didn't learn about this until just recently and am only on season 6. So, anything I read about future seasons, just seeing the DVD covers, spoils things for me. Thank goodness, I have a short memory and don't recall I had seen something until it happens, at which time I think de ja vu, instead of remembering I had read about it. Anyway...

On the DVD I watched last night there was a special feature - Smallville - Big Fans. In short there are some extreme fans running around. One mother spoke of her 20ish son and his girl friend - "They talk about Smallville the way a preacher talks about the Bible." Hence the connection here.

The fun part - from Kryptonsite (I just learned about this site last night, too!)

1. - Rokk Krinn (Cosmic Boy from the Legion) does the Michael J. Fox thing and travels back from the future. He tells Clark that every time the Legion travels through time, they take the chance of disrupting fate.

2. - While Brainiac was defeated in the Legion's previous visit, there's someone else who no longer exists... Clark is gone too. "When you saved Chloe's life, you saved her connection to Doomsday," Rokk warns. "She stopped you from sending him to the Phantom Zone; she made him invulnerable by trying to kill him with kryptonite. And now, because of Chloe, you cannot defeat him."

3. - Clark tells Rokk he'd never take back his choice to save Chloe. (That's our boy, um, man!)

4. - Rokk gives Clark a new Legion ring and tells him to use it to send Doomsday to the future.

5. - Rokk tells Clark the Legion is ready and prepared to fight Doomsday in the future.

6. - Clark tells Rokk that his father always told him that he was sent to Earth to save mankind. "Maybe this is my true destiny," he says.

7. - Rokk warns Clark that "tomorrow is the day you die."

8. - It appears that Chloe and Oliver survive, at least long enough to make it to a funeral.

9. - It looks like Black Kryptonite might split Doomsday and Davis

10. - Lois will find a Legion of Super-Heroes ring.

11. - Someone will learn the truth about Clark being the Red-Blue Blur.

I wonder how folk can be so loyal to a fictional TV super hero but not to a non-fictional character who could work miracles - Jesus.
