Bernie Madoff

Bernie Madoff is going to jail.

There is a fascinating interview with an Ex-con at Ex-con: Bernie won’t be too popular behind bars.

One line near the end - "I had Madoff’s reps get a hold of me before he went into custody and I turned them down. I wouldn’t help the guy out because I view him as an economic terrorist."

Madoff will not be a happy camper while in jail, to be sure.

On the other hand, the Bible recounts when an ex-rabbi, the apostle Paul was in jail. His time was much better spent and the outcome pleasing if you are a Christian.

Paul ended up visiting his jailor's house in the middle of the night and baptizing the whole family into the church.

More details at Acts 16:16-40

How different life can be even when unpleasant when Jesus is working things together for good. See Romans 8:28.
