The fact of the matter is, evolution is still a theory.
A theory is not a fact. It's a best guess based on a whole lot of assumptions (other theories).
Uniformitarianism is one of the assumptions that evolutionists believe for example.
Indeed no one was there in the beginning.
Creationism is a faith, not all that different than a theory.
And to be sure, no one was there in the beginning to see how God did or didn't do things.
In the beginning, you must believe there was something or nothing or almost nothing. On this point the evolutionist and creationist are equal. We believe what might have been there from the start. None of us were there. It's not a fact.
One must believe that everything came from something or nothing or almost nothing. It makes more sense to me to believe we all came from something...more scientific and logical sense to believe so.
That what we see and have now is the result of random chance...just plain doesn't sit right. Maybe for you, but not for me.
