Temporary Terminal Construction 12-7-2008

Construction on the Transbay Temporary Terminal land seems to be moving right along less than two months after the former parking lots were closed down on Halloween.  While an official groundbreaking with the familiar faces of Mayor Newsom and former Mayor Willie Brown didn't happen until December 10, 2008, work began fairly quickly at the start of November to dig trenches for the installation of utilities.

It is wonderful to see progress on this and many other projects in our Rincon Hill neighborhood as we close 2008!
