As the business of sustainability moves closer to creating the framework for the new green economy, many people are increasingly looking to connect with other green business professionals.(1).jpeg)
There are plenty of reasons to do this. For business owners, it's about building up a roster of trade or business contacts. For individuals its about networking with companies in the interest of finding green jobs or simply enhancing your green living interests.
The good news is that if there is any place in the world that could be designated as the "Capital of Green Business," it's the San Francisco Bay Area. There are more regularly scheduled conferences, events and opportunities to network here, perhaps than in any other part of the world.

GreenV Sustainable Center of South San Francisco
The Greenv Sustainable Center of South San Francisco serves as a hub for green businesses and the green community at large. The Sustainable Center showcases 49 vendors that offer sustainable building products and other green materials. Experts in the green building industry work with customers to help them choose eco-friendly products for their home.
In addition to providing green building resources, The Greenv Sustainable Center offers state-of-the-art conference rooms and meeting space to the community. The center hosts educational workshops and seminars on such topics as energy efficiency, sustainable building practices and solar power. The wealth of information offered at the Greenv Sustainable Center of South San Francisco makes it a total resource for building a green way of life.

San Francisco Green Drinks
San Francisco Green Drinks (SFGD) is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that actively promotes green networking, education and volunteer events in the San Francisco Bay Area. SFGD’s mission is to be the eco-conscious hub, both on and offline, for local individuals, organizations, and businesses that aim to strengthen and support the local environmental and green community.
Once a month San Francisco Green Drinks holds a large social networking event for several hundred green professionals at 111 Minna, a popular art gallery and bar just south of Market Street. A broad range of community partners, businesses and non-profits contribute to the event, enriching our community with their knowledge, opportunities and ongoing services. SFGD also utilizes and promotes online resources, such as a community event calendar and volunteer network, that strive to bring together sustainable thinkers with those looking to participate and take action.

San Francisco Green Festival
The San Francisco Green Festival, typically held in November each year, is a joint project of Global Exchange and Green America. One of many Green Festivals held all over the country, this premier San Francisco event celebrates what’s working in our communities—for people, business and the environment. The festival makes the word "green" synonymous with safe, healthy communities and a strong local economy. At each Green Festival, you will see the very best in green: authors, leaders and educators; great how-to workshops; cutting-edge films; fun activities for kids; organic beer and wine; delicious vegetarian cuisine and diverse live music. And this is just the start!
