The Nashville theatre community is always expanding and improving.  For proof, look no further than the excellent options that follow!

Sarah and the Secret of the Cellar at Chaffin's Barn
7/2 & 7/3
This comedic mystery follows a 12-year-old girl who heads to her cellar for some playtime and discovers quite a surprise while there.

Seeing Stars in Dixie at Chaffin's Barn
7/2-7/4
At Clemmie's, a Natchez, Mississippi tea room, the proprietor who has a fascination with movies and a secret admirer, oversees her cast of the town’s most colorful characters.

Picasso at the Lapin Agile at The Boiler Room
7/2-7/5
This long running Off-Broadway absurdist comedy places Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso in a Parisian cafe in 1904, just before the renowned scientist transformed physics with his theory of relativity and the celebrated painter set the art world afire with cubism. In Steve Martin's first comedy for the stage, the popular actor and screenwriter plays fast and loose with fact, fame and fortune

A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Tennessee Shakespeare Festival in Bell Buckle
7/2, 7/3 & 7/5
Due to the enormous popularity (and limited run) of last summer's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, the TSF will open the 2009 season with a revival of that production, with most of the original actors reprising their roles.

Parallel Lives at Art Space Nashville
7/2 & 7/4
Street Theatre Company presents this rollicking play, based on the Kathy and Mo Show. It's a hysterical romp about love, life and relationships as depicted through over 30 characters, male and female, all portrayed by two very busy women!
