West's disruption wasn't the only one the evening offered, Wilson said. During a performance by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, rapper Lil Mama rushed the stage.

Now this one was a shocker, no one messes with the big homie! Did Lil Mama herb Jay-Z?

Of course she disrespected herself and career more than anything she could do to Jay-Z and his career but that moment made me reminiscent of A Bronx Tale. Remember when Sonny gets killed by the local nobody, it personified the fact that any one can get touched. Well here in the music industry there is no icon bigger than Jay-Z. He has sold out the garden 8 times and continues to be the Ambassador for Hip-Hop.

So how is it that a one hit wonder was able to hop on stage and attempt to ruin his performance on national television? What type of security and stage hands does MTV have that people can just jump on stage. This is a serious security issue because what if Lil Mama wanted to harm one of the artists on stage.

I can't call it! Maybe I'm a bad person because when Taylor Swift's moment was ruined I felt bad for her but was like whose Taylor Swift so it made sense that something like that could happen. But JIGGAMAN not the JIGGAMAN.

Lil Mama released this apology:

"I did not mean any disrespect towards Jay-Z or Alicia Keys," the statement reads. "I admire them and look up to them as role models. 'Empire State of Mind' had my emotions running high. In that moment I came up onstage to celebrate my two icons singing about NY."
