Public furious over negative media coverage of Michael Jackson

King of Pop passes away

Michael Jackson is the greatest talent and performer this world has ever seen undoubtedly. His music has touched the hearts of millions, he has inspired every artist who has picked up a microphone after him. His legacy is filled with triumph; his humanitarian deeds helped set him apart as man who truly cared about the world.

So why is it that in death, instead of celebrating his life, his fans are crying out that the media is focusing on the negative aspects of his life. 

People have taken to their twitter pages in disgust at news outlets like CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC.

Hip Hop mogul Sean "P. Diddy" Combs chided Larry king and the other guests on his 'tribute' show who seemed to focus on the negativity in Jackson's life and implored them to speak more about the great legacy he leaves behind.

One tweeter, tweeted that he doubted "Farrah Fawcett" would get similar negative media attention. 

Michael Jackson was an inspiration to us all. He was a member of our families, we watched him grow from a little boy to a full grown man who has now departed from us. His music has changed lives. Last night men were in tears in front of Harlem's famous Apollo theater speaking about how he inspired them and his passion for the music he created.

Let's remember Michael Jackson for the man that he was,  a giver, a gentleman, and a musical genius. There will never be another Michael Jackson, may his legacy be with us through his music.
