This afternoon munchkins from near and far were scheduled to descend on Downtown Boulder for the annual Munchkin Masquerade event. This year's trick-or-treat extravaganza has over 60 businesses signed up to be "treat stops" along Pearl Street (from 8th to 2st streets) as well as adjacent streets. Since the weather decided not to cooperate, the event has been postpone until Sunday (Nov. 1) from 1 - 4 p.m.
Here are a few insider tips for Munchkins (big and small) heading to Pearl Street on Sunday:
City of Boulder Parking Garages are FREE on Saturdays and Sundays year round! Click here or visit BoulderParking.com for detailed parking information. The garage at 11th and Spruce is always very popular so consider parking at either 15th and Pearl or at the St Julien (10th and Walnut) garages.
Start at the Camera parking lot (10th and Pearl) to pick up treats and a Treat Stop map listing all of the businesses who are participating. Remember to step off the pedestrian mall and visit businesses along the West and East Ends as well as along adjacent streets. (Rumor has it businesses on the East End - between 15th and 21st streets - are going to go all out this year!)
Dress up and have fun!
Munchkin Masquerade is produced by Downtown Boulder; presented by Wells Fargo and supported by the Camera and City of Boulder Parking Services.
