Blue Skies (1110 Pearl Street)

Who can resist a $400 dress that is marked down 80% or something from Juicy Couture for under $50?  I have a lot of willpower…but give a girl a break!

I had a quick errand to run  this morning so I dashed out of the office and landed on Pearl Street - right when merchants were opening their doors and setting up tables and racks for the annual Downtown Boulder Summer Sidewalk Sales!  This yearly, not-to-be missed, shopping event offers amazing deals from Downtown Boulder’s favorite merchants both on and off the Bricks.

I found some very cute bags at Blue Skies and some must-have essentials from Weekends and Chelsea.  There were tons of unique gift on sale at the Paper Doll.   Looking out my office window, I can see many visitors stopping to peruse items at the Peppercorn. 

Guess what I’ll be doing during lunch!  Can I hit all of the stores in an hour?  Not a chance.  But, am I worried about being gone a few extra minutes? Not at all.  My boss just walked into my office to show me a fun pair of $14 Tommy Bahama® swim trunks that she just bought for her husband!   Tommy Bahama® for $14….see what I mean? Give the girl a break!

Downtown Boulder’s Summer Sidewalk Sales start today and run through Sunday (Aug. 1 – 3).  Support hundreds of locally-owned business and get in on some of the hottest summer deals around.  (Don’t forget that Downtown merchants can be found on and off the Bricks.  Make sure to head all the way down Pearl Street from 21^st to 8^th Streets running east to west, and visit businesses located between Canyon and Pine Streets – running north to south).  For a complete list Downtown Boulder businesses, visit BoulderDowntown.com!
