AE Tattoo Highway premieres on May 27
A&E new unscripted series Tattoo Highway premieres on Wednesday, May 27 at 10 PM/ET or 9 PM Central Time. The new reality series goes on the road with tattoo artist Thomas Pendelton, as he takes his tattoo parlor mobile in a big 1970’s bus..jpg)
Pendelton, along with his wife and business partner, Monica; have transformed a 1970s bus into a tattoo parlor on wheels. The bus is equipped with a swanky interior and top-of-the line tattooing equipment. The traveling tattoo parlor can tattoo anyone, anywhere.
15-year tattoo veteran and star of former A&E hit Inked,Pendelton and his new business “Ministry of Ink” hit the road in this new series to transform personal stories into living art. To create a touching memorial tattoo that brings him to tears, Pendelton mixes the cremated ashes of a deceased wife into the ink for a portrait on her husband’s chest. For another job, he uses UV ink for a tattoo only visible with a black light, for one man’s constant reminder of his mother. From a pair of matching eggplants, to a giant gorilla riding a scooter and an emblem of Apache stars on the forehead of an elderly woman, Pendelton and his team encounter unusual and inspiring stories from Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and beyond.
Ride along as emotional limits and friendships are challenged and the persistent mechanical problems of a vintage bus are tested on the road, as “Tattoo Highway” proves to be one bumpy ride.
“Tattoo Highway” is produced for A&E Networks by Juma Entertainment, LLC. Bob Horowitz and Lewis Fenton are executive producers for Juma Entertainment, LLC. A&E executive producers are Robert Sharenow and Neil A. Cohen.
