CNN Anderson Cooper broadcast a report on the famous former companion of Michael Jackson, Bubbles the Chimp. CNN found Bubbles in an animal sanctuary in Florida. Jackson' chimp Bubbles enjoys life out of public eye.  Comedy Channel's Colbert Nation found humor in the report.

When Bob Dunn's closed in 2004, Bubbles was sent to the animal sanctuary in Florida, where can hide from the limelight.

The director of the Center for Great Apes, Patti Ragan, described a peaceful existence for Bubbles, who spends his days eating, napping and spending time hanging out with the other apes. Ragan said that Michael Jackson never visited Bubbles, even though it is likely that Bubbles would have recognized his former friend.

In response to the CNN Anderson Cooper story, Comedy Channel Colbert Nation aired a clip called CNN Finds Bubbles the Chimp. Colbert poked fun at the CNN story, which Anderson Cooper must have enjoyed because he aired the clip on his CNN show and laughed when viewing it.
