Michael Jackson was rehearsing for his London concert tour in the days before is untimely death, according to news reports. CNN reported that according to first hand reports, Jackson was energetic and looked great in the rehearsals. Jackson
reheared on the night before he died.
Jackson had a two hour show planned, but had been talking about changing the show to make it less exhausting. They were considering either taking a half hour break between two hour segments or cutting the concert to 90 minutes. Michael Jackson had signed up for a 50 concert tour, with a schedule of a concert every other day, according to reports.
Jackson reportedly did not eat much or drink very much. He wasn't hydrating very well during rehearsals according to a source report to CNN. Hydration is very important, replace vital fluids when exercising and perspiring.
If Jackson was taking as many prescription drugs as reports indicate, it is possible that his source of energy was some sort of upper. Jackson was reportedly taking opioid drugs, such as Oxycontin and Demerol, for pain. Both uppers and downers (opioids) can be very hard on the heart.
