Reports of sightings with multiple objects on the rise

Recent sightings, where multiple objects have been observed, are on the rise. The following reports indicate that this phenomenon continues:
Brainerd, Minnesota - 4/14/2009
Witnesses were driving south on route 44 when they observed what appeared to be two separate objects traveling slowly from east to west. The objects were traveling close together, and the driver of the car pulled over to try to get a better look. The witnesses noticed that one of the objects was gone, while the remaining object continued in a westerly direction.
Port Charlotte, Florida - 4/14/2009
Two large orange triangular-shaped objects were observed flying erratically over the harbor. The objects were sighted while looking south towards the city of Punta Gorda, and moved in a fashion that would not indicate conventional aircraft. The objects appeared at approximately 9:00 p.m., and during a severe thunderstorm. It is possible that this could have been lightning, and is being investigated by Mufon.
New York, NY - 4/13/2009
Witness was driving east, northeast towards the former Richmond Parkway when he witnessed four blue-colored objects flying in formation. The objects came from the east, turned, then traveled north. The objects moved smoothly, and quickly vanished from sight. The witness was able to describe the objects as sort of bulbous in shape, with one side being a bit more pointed. While the formation they were flying wasn't precise, they did remain close together when engaged in the turn.
