I am happy to welcome Marie Casey as the new "Seattle Democrat Examiner." After months of holding the fort as the only avowed Progressive on these pages, it will be great to have a new voice and perspective on the Seattle area political scene. From Marie's first piece published yesterday:
"The last eight years have been the most interesting political time for generations of Americans and as one of the most progressive cities in the country, Seattle promises to be a leader in helping to advance the President’s agenda. However, we will also most certainly lead in dissecting and debating this policy every step along the way."
