Chad Shue
Snohomish County Progressive Examiner | Bio
Find out more about Chad:

Chad Shue was born and raised in Washington State. He became socially and politically "aware" during the late 1960s and formed most of his political views through the lens of the civil rights movement, the Viet Nam conflict, and LBJ's "Great Society". He spent 3 years in the US Army as a Company Clerk from 1970-73; splitting time between the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC and an MP Detachment at Camp Zama, Japan.

Chad has maintained the blog The Left Shue since 2004 and is a contributing editor at Washblog. He writes from a populist/progressive perspective and is just as likely to be criticizing a “New” Democrat as he would a “Neo-con” Republican. Chad lives in Everett with his wife of 30+ years and takes a hands on approach to many local political issues and candidates. When he is not writing about politics he performs at political functions with some of his fellow "activist musicians" as the Three Chord Progressives.
