LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- Despite an industry-wide downturn in RV sales during this tough economic environment, Windish RV Center today announced that it will be opening a second location in Longmont, Colo. and will celebrate with a grand opening event April 16 to 18.

The company's first location in Lakewood, Colo., which has long provided customers with a large inventory of quality new and used RV's to match every budget and family activity, has seen record sales in recent months.

"With the current state of the economy, countrywide RV sales are down significantly, but Windish has managed to overcome the odds and continue to prosper, hence the need for a second location," said Jim Humble, general manager and sales manager at Windish. "Our business model has allowed us to succeed in the marketplace for over forty years. We pride ourselves on making sound financial decisions to maintain our inventory financing, doing business with manufacturers that are financially sound and never forgetting that we are only as good as our employees that represent us to the public."

The Windish family has been in the automobile and RV sales business for over forty years. In 1993, they opened the Lakewood RV dealership and have spent the past 16 years providing customers with a good product mix of towable and motorized vehicles in various price classes.

"RV's offer an ongoing opportunity for families to make great memories for their children that will last forever," said Humble. "Having two locations provides us with the ability to reach a bigger base of customers throughout the region. Our main goal is to make the experience of buying fun and easy, because we are selling a lifetime of memories."

Eighty percent of Windish customers are working families wanting to spend quality time traveling throughout the country. Today, SUV's and trucks are family vehicles that can pull most trailers and fifth wheels. The Windish inventory allows customers to pick between a variety of options to meet their needs. Tough economic times has allowed Windish to take advantage of special manufacturer pricing and retail financing options are also available based on a customer's credit score.

The new Longmont location is located at 10571 W. I-25 Frontage Road at Exit 240 and will offer the same lines and models available at the Lakewood location.
