Colorado’s RV parks are located in some of the most scenic places our state has to offer. These RV parks offer the visitor a variety of activities for fun and relaxation. Many RV parks in Colorado are now offering “Park Models” to visitors who wish to avail themselves to the scenic areas and enjoy get-a-ways, but don’t have an RV. This new trend sees RV Parks renting the cozy cabins on a nightly basis. The Park Model homes are recreational homes primarily designed as temporary living quarters for recreation, camping or seasonal use. These homes are built on a single chassis and mounted on wheels.

Why are Park Models gaining in popularity? Rising fuel costs may be partly responsible for increased park model demand, but other factors are also driving interest, including the relative affordability of park models compared to RV's, as well as the increasing good looks of park model units. What a great way to explore staying in an RV park without the hassle and cost of renting an RV.

So the next time you have an urge to get-a-way for a few days, call your friendly RV Park and ask if they rent RV Park Model Cabins. Two of the state’s best are Chalk Creek Campground in Buena Vista and Castle Rock Campground in Castle Rock.

Happy Camping
