Last August, I noted the creation of Washington state's Legacy Project, being run by oral historian and veteran journalist John C. Hughes. The Seattle Times is now reporting the program's launch, with profiles of Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic, former Kitsap Sun writer Adele Ferguson, and former state supreme court justice Charles Z. Smith. The profiles are indexed here. Future subjects include former state supreme court justice Carolyn Dimmick, former state first lady Nancy Evans, former governor Booth Gardner, and former secretary of state Ralph Munro.
