One of my writers over at Grown in My Heart has been published several times and her new book, A Cup of Comfort for Adoptive Families: Stories that celebrate a special gift of love hits bookstores in the next week. I was able to receive an advanced copy of the book and am excited to read the entire thing on vacation this summer.

However, I did get a chance to read several of the entries yesterday during my youngest's nap time and they were wonderful. The editor, Colleen Sell, has compiled more than 35 entries from adoptive parents across the country.

The collection of stories is heartfelt and raw. They express emotions on a level that sometimes only adoptive parents can understand. In the few that I read yesterday, I was taken back, as the stories and emotions were so similar to mine.
