After trick-or-treating has ended on the island, kick off fall with Ohana’s 1st Annual Longboard Surf Classic! The event takes place Sunday, November 8, 2009. The entry fee is just $20, and all of the proceeds benefit the Johnny Kicks Cancer Foundation. According to the website, the mission of the Johnny Kicks Cancer Foundation is to cure childhood leukemia through awareness and funding for cutting-edge research, as well as to empower and encourage patients, families and doctors in their fight against the number one childhood cancer. In honor of Johnny Romano, help kick cancer by going surfing!
