ARTISTS' FORMERLY KNOWN AS FULL TANK

ASSEMBLY LINE:

An assembly line is a manufacturing process in which interchangeable parts are added to a product in a sequential manner to create a finished product. It's an arrangement of tools, and workers in which a product is assembled by having each perform a specific, successive operation on an incomplete unit as it passes by in a series of stages organized in a direct line. Creating art is the act that unites us, exhibiting art as a collaboration is the act that defines us. Our intention is not solely focused on the product , but we work on developing and strengthening each individual artist's talents.

Founded in 2003, Assembly Line started with 6 artists. Steadily, Assembly Line has expanded into a team of 16 artists from San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and Seattle. Assembly Line is a collaborative network of diverse artistic development, giving support, and empowerment to each artist. Stemming from a wide range of artistic behavioral backgrounds, Assembly Line is driven by multiple genres of Art - Graffiti, Graphic Design, Illustration, 3D Graphics, Motion Graphics, Painting, Sculpture, Photography. ALA is not limited to the traditional but more adept and interested in exploring newer forms of creation.

MISSION STATEMENT

We bring together artists of various disciplines, offering resources and venues to display and showcase our talents, while working to turn our skills into a means of survival and continuing to inspire artistic expression.

This collective of artists will be displaying work at A.Okay Official on Saturday, Jan. 17th from 6-10pm.  I personally know some fo the participating artists and this show will be a breath of fresh warm California air.
