The great thing about having a lot of artsy fartsy friends is that some of get their act together and open up a gallery/studio space to create and have shows in.  The Oh No Doom collective have made a name for themselves in the art/design world with a very bold approach to all things creative.  These fine fellows are super nice and welcoming so don't be afraid to swing by after work if you're in the hood and take a quick gander at all the hard work and thought put into this unique space.

They have these crazy characters all around the perimeter of their space.  It's so welcoming to see ravenous cuddly animals with skull masks.  It makes me feel all fuzzy and stuff.

These are some of the items that the collective have for sale - biting octopus things, screenprints, and tee shirts all designed by the chaps themselves.

Art from the current show for Solve RIP.

The gallery is located on 2955 w. Lyndale ave. over in the Humboldt Park/Logan Square Area.  It's on the corner of Sacramento and Lyndale Ave.  About two and a half blocks West of the California Blue Line stop.  Check  them out some time and grab yourself a PBR during one of their openings.  Be sure to make fun of the guy with the mohawk.
