Saturday: The Kanbar Center for the Performing Arts in San Rafael presents a swing dance featuring Lavay Smith & Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers at 8PM. Saturday: If you are a woman who loves to dance, but you’re reluctant to ask a guy to dance, check out the Sadie Hawkins Day Dance at Sinbad's Restaurant in San Francisco. The rule is that men are not allowed to say no to a woman's request to dance at this annual party. Dance to your favorite hits while you are enjoying a fabulous view of the Bay. Sinbad’s is next to the Ferry Building on Pier 2 along the Embarcadero, in San Francisco. 8pm-Midnight Accessible by BART and MUNI (Embarcadero Station). Limited $4 valet parking available. Saturday: If you’d love to go to a formal waltz, the San Francisco Waltzing Society is having their annual dance at the Regency Center Ballroom at the corner of Van Ness Ave & Sutter in San Francisco. Waltz to the tunes of the Saratoga Symphony. Attire is formal, Victorian, Vintage or modern. Singles are seated together, so you’ll get a chance to meet new people.
