Wednesday, September 9th, is opening night for the 15th Annual Temecula Valley Film and Music Festival. Located in Southern California’s up and coming wine country, Temecula is just 60 miles North/Northeast of San Diego, CA. Last year more than 20,000 attended the event and this year attendance is expected to grow.

This year’s opening night, on September 9th, includes the U.S. premier of Love Hurts, a romantic comedy starring Richard Grant, Carrie-Anne Moss, Johnny Pacar, Jenna Elfman, Janeane Garofalo, Camryn Manheim and Rita Rudner.

The evening of celebration begins with a vintage car line up and a parade down Ynez Road at Rancho California, Tower Plaza. Several troops from the First Reconnaissance Battalion of the 1st Marine Division of Camp Pendleton will also attend wearing their Blues. The parade begins at 5 PM and the red carpet event will culminate immediately after the parade at the movie theater located at 27531 Ynez Road, Temecula, CA.

Camryn Manheim is expected to appear at the red carpet event along with Lucas Grabeel from High School Musical, Johnny Pacar – Love Hurts, and Barra Grant – Writer/Director of Love Hurts.

Throughout the five day festival there will be workshops, panel discussions, and of course lots of movies and music. With over 70 film programs lined up for viewing, September 10 – 13, and the exciting MusicFest on Friday and Saturday plus workshops and a marketplace there’s something for everyone. Tickets are still available.

Some of the workshops/panels include:
