Friday June 26 is decision day for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency's much delayed bike plan. Fifty-six projects adding some 34 miles of bike lanes to city streets will be discussed beginning at 9AM in Room 400, City Hall.
It looks to be a grueling day, as the calendar anticipates the ratification of each and every one of the 56 projects, beginning with the establishment of bike lanes in both directions on North Point Street between The Embarcadero and Van Ness, and concluding with the addition of bike lanes in both directions on Sloat Boulevard between Skyline Boulevard and The Great Highway.
The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition has a great page to help people prepare to testify at the meeting.
