"Duchamp Reloaded" on 14th Street and 3rd Avenue.

Apropos of even less than my last post, here's a wonderful art-about-art-about-cycling thing created by a guy named Ji Lee, who works at Google in New York City and is one of the folks behind The Bubble Project. For his latest work of urban and cultural agitation, Duchamp Reloaded, Lee has recreated artist Marcel Duchamp's "Bicycle Wheel" and then treated the artwork like, well, a bicycle. Here's his short and simple statement:

"In 1913, Marcel Duchamp took found objects from the streets and placed them in museums. 96 years later, if Duchamp were alive, he may want to do the very opposite."

No wonder Google rocks. ;-)
