Oh, how my son absolutely loved Pingu when he was an infant. So much so, that I got a little worried because you know, Pingu doesn't talk. He and his friends and family only make these weird little penguin noises. But all is well, my son still digs Pingu and the boy talks just fine. No harm done.

Anyway, I could never find any Pingu DVD's for my son (trust me, I searched high and low) and now they're available on DVD! Well, yippee to that! Now your kids (and mine) can join the ultimate party penguin, Pingu, in Pingu's South Pole Adventures. It's a cool new collection of eight hilarious adventures and it's sliding into stores on November 11, 2008 so mark your calendars, people.

Join Pingu as he keeps the polar icecaps cool in these icy new adventures. Take a trip to the South Pole where you’ll find him chilling with the Abominable Snowman, getting his first job and dancing the night away in his igloo. Laugh along as he learns the hard way that penguins can’t fly, plays tag with his sister, and takes a trip on a motorized sled for the very first time.

Be sure to pick it up for your children ages 2 through 8 on November 11, 2008 for $14.98.
