For all of you native plant enthusiasts out there, the wonderful folks at the Wicker Park Garden Club will be keeping you busy during the non-gardening season. The series, called, "Native Landscapes: Created - Conserved - Evolved" is made up of five presenters, listed below:

  • Barbara Geiger on midwestern landscape designers. Monday, November 2
  • Rinda Weston on the psychology of the landscape. Monday, December 7
  • Kelsay Shaw on designing a native landscape. Monday, January 11
  • Robert Grese on Jens Jensen. Monday, February 1
  • Joel Baldin on Alfred Caldwell. Monday, March 1

Each lecture costs $8 and runs from 7 to 8:30PM at the Wicker Park Field House, located at 1425 N. Damen in Chicago. Register for any of these presentations by emailing wpgarden@aol.com. You'll pay at the door.
