CBS2 Chicago has announced a photo contest for the purpose of finding the absolute best photos of the Chicago area, then publishing them in a fine-art coffee-table book. What's unique about the book is that it is a collaborative effort between readers and CBS2 - a "book published for you, written by you, edited by you. Your best photos plus CBS2 Chicago;s combined editing means this book will truly be the best ever photography book of Chicago."

Readers are asked to submit their best Chicago photographs at Capture My Chicago website and then vote for the photos that you think should be in the book.
