About the Contest
The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum invites you to enter your favorite photos of nature in Chicago to our 10th Anniversary Flickr Photo Contest.
We’re looking for beautiful nature photography in Chicago. Whether it’s a butterfly feeding in our Haven, a rare bird in Chicago’s parks or a squirrel in your backyard, all of your original digital images of nature are eligible for the competition.
The winner will receive a free two year family membership to the Nature Museum. Their image will also be featured on our website, and in our November e-newsletter.
From their flickr profile: "The Chicago Academy of Sciences and its Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum inspire people to learn about and care for nature and the environment. The Academy improves quality of life in Chicago and the region by delivering superior environmental and science education programs to students and teachers, by offering Museum exhibitions and conducting public programs that foster green living, and by restoring local ecosystems and advancing scientific knowledge through collections and research."
