The Mr. Clean brand expands to car wash

A world-famous icon is now the host of a new car wash experience. From free Wi-Fi and a comfy lounge with a coffee bar for adults to giant water guns the kids can shoot cars with soap, Mr. Clean Car Wash locations are making the car wash experience a bit more friendly and convenient.

Currently there are two locations: one in Cincinatti, OH and one in Atlanta, GA. The company states other locations are opening soon.

According to Nicole Malcolm, Brand Manager for Mr. Clean Car Wash, "...we see opportunities to take a strong brand like Mr. Clean and turn it into a service." Proctor & Gamble is creating a service by providing comfortable lounges that are bright and colorful and very welcoming; entertainment for the kids; and a coffee bar and free Wi-Fi to help the adults pass the time more enjoyably. The car wash is becoming an experience--not just a mundane task.

For more info: Check out the Mr. Clean Car Wash site or visit the Mr. Clean product site.
Bring it home: Think of how you might be able to stretch your brand to generate additional growth and revenue. How can you add more "service" to your business?
