As geo-technology becomes more common use, mobile marketing will quickly evolve. This article is one of a series introducing the topic with multiple posts following that will highlight what changes lie ahead in digital marketing.
Picture receiving relevant locale information on your smartphone (Blackberry, iPhone, Droid, etc.) screen that updates as your location changes. Imagine getting information on stores you frequent or restaurant choices based on your preferences delivered to your device that correlates to your specific geographic location. If you already have Google Maps (use this link if you're viewing on your mobile device) on your smart phone, it is easier to relate to this technology in use. These are technologies that are in use now and will become more prevalent in the near future.
