The most effective viral marketing campaigns are the ones that are memorable and motivate the viewer to actually WANT to send something to their friends and colleagues. Even the most email-filtering person would appreciate the humor in this commercial for Amstel Light.

Bring it home: What cool, bizarre, or funny thing can you do to promote your product or service that has the potential to fly through the world? The most effective viral marketing campaigns are typically NOT started by the advertiser themselves--rather fans of the product or service. Inspire your customers to come up with something clever in the form of a contest or special promotion in exchange for the selected video. Be sure to provide specific guidelines.
