Accumulating snow Wednesday

WEDNESDAY: Rain/snow mix early. Changes to all snow. Temps fall in afternoon. Becoming windy, NW 10-20 gusts 30+ (late night tomorrow). Areas of blowing/drifting. 2 to 4 inch general area wide. Afternoon commute impacted. Locally higher amounts if banding of snow occurs (causes intense local snow rates).

LATE FRI/SAT: Clipper system comes down. At least 1 to 2 inches area wide.

LATE SUN/MON: Another Clipper system. If storm phases with low pressure expected down south.....a MAJOR winterstorm will occur near or in the Chicago area.
