Comedian Jim Short
Past champion Jim Short will return to his old stomping grounds to host the first round of the 34th Annual San Francisco Stand-Up Comedy Competition beginning Wednesday, 9/9, at the Purple Onion. Contestants who have been recruited by producers Anne and Jon Fox will be arriving from around the country in the hopes of winning glory and a part of a $25,000 prize fund.
