Homstie

Los Angeles, CA based Homstie is an interesting company that is offering a unique opportunity for people to earn a little bit of extra of cash, which couldn't be coming at a better time due to the horrible condition of the economy.

From their website Homstie describes themselves as "a person-to-person marketplace that enables people with extra space to rent it to others who need storage or parking.  Anyone with an empty garage, bedroom, parking spot, or vacant lot can rent it out through Homstie.com to generate some extra income. People who would otherwise be paying for traditional self-storage facilities can save more than 50% by renting from other people through Homstie."

I recently had the opportunity to interview Homstie and chat a little more about their competitive advantages and future goals. You should give it a read.
