Attention Span Media is a Los Angeles, CA based social media studio that produces "Dorm Life", a hilarious mockumentary series that follows the lives of 10 college students at a fictional university that happen to live on the same dorm floor called 5 South.

Since their online debut last February 2008, Dorm Life has taken on a successful life of its own. In less than four months after their online launch Attention Span Media inked a three year nonexclusive distribution deal with online video powerhouses YouTube and Hulu. By the end of the first season Dorm Life ranked number one on Hulu's list of top web series, which is not an easy task to accomplish considering the competition. The three year distribution deal with YouTube provided Attention Span Media with a dedicated branded YouTube channel for Dorm Life as well as a share in the generated revenue associated with users watching the episodes.

Season two of Dorm Life is set to premiere on March 2, 2009 but this time around leading social networking website MySpace is getting involved in the competition. Dorm Life will be premiering two days early (February 28, 2009) exclusively on MySpace Video. This is another prime example showing how fierce competition is within the world of online video distribution.
