These bars are made for walkin'.
I recently went camping with a group of friends, and we all contributed funds to pay for the food. One couple volunteered to do all the shopping, and got all the essentials: hot dogs, hamburgers, s'mores, soda, potato salad...

So what's a health nut like me to do? Go along for the ride and bring my own secret snacks. For me, it's all about getting high-quality protein with less sugar. But, short of toting around low-fat cheese sticks in a cooler, it's a sticky proposition when you're outdoors. Enter the happy camper's snack bar: Trio Bars, by Mrs. May's Naturals. The Trio has everything you want, and nothing you don't: 100% vegan, no trans fat, Kosher, no additives or cholesterol or preservatives, and is free of gluten, dairy, wheat and GMO. They're made primarily of nuts, dried fruits and seeds. While they're not what you call low fat, the fat is mostly monounsaturated (it's good for you) since it comes from nuts and seeds.

I bought my box of 24 at Costco, but haven't seen them in the grocery store yet.

For more info: visit Mrs. May's Naturals online at www.mrsmays.com, or pick up a box at your local Costco warehouse.
