First, I’d like to send a shout out to my buddy Dave. Well, if you read the comments, it is my buddy DAVE. Dave got hitched down in the Mexican Riviera yesterday. Yet, he still found time to comment on his favorite site about his favorite football team. Good to see that marriage has not clouded his priorities. Dave, congratulations on your nuptials.
OK, on to team stuff.
Carlos Rogers and Rocky McIntosh will play against the Jets Saturday. Their rehab has been nothing short of remarkable. How they fare in game situations will be a mental thing. With Rogers, his hands are more of a concern than his knees.
Devin Thomas will be road tested against the Jets. I mean that both literally and figuratively.
Jason Campbell will be going against his boyhood idol Brett Favre. I hope that won’t distract him from the great play he has exhibited so far in camp and the preseason games so far. I really think Campbell is going to have a break-out season this year.
I highly recommend Rich Tandler’s piece on Jon Jansen. I hope that it is indeed just a case of shaking off the rust. Rich also gets all historical on the Jets-Redskins series. He even dredges up that awful 3-0 game from 1993, three hours of the most horrid football ever played. Thanks, Rich, for resurrecting memories I thought I had buried forever. ;)
Will Allensworth at Hogs Haven has a great NFC East roundtable series. He's interviewing fellow NFC East bloggers regarding the upcoming season and how the conference will shake out. Will has responses from both Giants and Eagles bloggers. Definitely check it out.

For all you fantasy football fiends, Examiner.com has two experts for you to consult. Brad Hostetter is the Fantasy Football Examiner. Brad is a veteran of expert leagues. Brad has sketched out both John McCain’s and Barack Obama’s fantasy football strategies for the fall campaign. It is hilarious or should that be Hillaryious?
Just yesterday Dave Del Grande aka Mr. Fantasy joined the Examiner clan as the Fantasy Sports Examiner. Dave’s inaugural Examiner piece analyzes the fantasy ramifications of the Favre saga on the Packers, Jets and Dolphins. Hint: don’t waste a high pick on Ryan Grant.
