Estes Park has again been named the most popular mountain destination by the Colorado Travel Year Study 2008. Estes Park has been given this honor for three years in a row based on the Longswood International yearly study.

One of the major draws is Rocky Mountain National Park. National parks are always major draws for many families looking for inexpensive travel destinations that the whole family can enjoy. But, study participants have also cited thrills, unique attractions and stress-free vacationing as other major reasons for why Estes Park was chosen.

Other top destinations included Breckenridge, Vail and Beaver Creek.
