chase bank card in a fashion ad. now i see where my $ went

Have you heard the one about the woman on the phone with her parents, talking about the new bank she's found? Her parents think this single woman has met a man named Chase. The woman explains it's a bank.

It is so offensive, not just to women, but anyone with more than a modicum of brain matter between their ears. The parents ask if he has his hair, a job, etc, but really, what does it have to do with banking, money, oh the financial crisis that has sunk the economy and we are bailing out with our tax dollars?

Maybe it's supposed to be a play on Seinfeld and the stereotypes that a single woman needs a man, but it doesn't work. And as obnoxious as it is, I'm hearing it repeatedly. I switch the station every time it comes on now. It makes me want to chase away Chase and saddle up back to Wells Fargo.

If this is the kind of ad management likes, no wonder they don't know what to do with my money.
