The last John Madden report with veteran news man Al Hart will air today, Wednesday, KCBS -- AM /FM( 740 and 106.9) at 8:15 AM until 8:25 AM.
Hart, 81, retired from his role as news anchor in 2000, but has continued doing a popular Madden bit, a down-home look at pro football from two regular guys (one of whom used to coach the Oakland Raiders when they were good). I always loved it, even though I don't care that much about football. I guess that's what was so popular with the general audience.
Check it out and drop a note here if you will say goodbye to a great veteran, Al Hart. Maybe he'll refer to when your comments on the air.
