Fox "news." But "views" would be more accurate

Media Matters, which does a very good job of keeping track of lies in right wing media, announced that Sean Hannity took its honor as the year's biggest liar.

It's a tough competition, but I think they made the right call this year. Rush Limbaugh could take the prize every year, but you can tell that with the private jet and the mansions and the Bentleys, he's losing some of his focus. He was also luke warm on John McCain, but all about Sarah Palin, which is more frightening.

Plus, he spent all those years defending President Bush, and now even he is against Bush policies that include bailing out the banks and car companies.

There is a long list of Hannity lies here.

The biggest liar on the left? Sadly, former KGO-AM talk host Bernie Ward, who claimed he was being set up by the government when it prosecuted him for sending pornographic images of children on the Web.

The evidence showed that Ward wasn't researching a book but was gleefully collecting and sharing the photos. Sad day for the liar of the left.

The trouble is, politically, he was pretty astute and ahead of the curve.
