I was excited about KITS-FM's (105.3) "Almost Acoustic Christmas" show until I saw the lineup for sister station KROQ's show in Los Angeles the same week.
On Thursday December 11, at the Oakland Arena, we have the Killers, Death Cab for Cutie, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand and Jack's Mannequin....great, right?
Until you see what THEY have December 13 and 14 at the Gibson Ampitheatre:
Saturday: the Offspring, Stone Temple Pilots, Rise Against, AFI, Staind, Three Days Grace, Slightly Stoopid and Hollywood Undead.
THEN Sunday, they have the Cure, the Killers, Death Cab, Paramore, Scott Weiland, Snow Patrol and Vampire Weekend.
Just another reason to HATE LA.
