Speaker of the House Terrance Carroll (D-Denver) announced he will clear a few hours of his schedule each week to open his office up to the community.
Just stop by The Speaker’s Office, room 246 of the State Capitol, to voice your concerns to the Speaker himself. The “open-office hours” start at 2 p.m. and will be held every Wednesday.
After reading some of the other things occupying time on Speaker Carroll’s schedule, like driving a tractor on National Agriculture Day, or taking horse back riding lessons at the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo, it’s good to see that he actually has an office. All good causes Mr. Speaker, but if Obama can barely take time to fill out an NCAA bracket, you've got some problems to solve too.
Thanks for opening up your office to the public Mr. Speaker, I’ll see you on Wednesday.
If any readers don’t have time to engage in a civic discourse with the Speaker, and you have questions you’d like to be answered, let me know!
