Tune in and be wowed by the talents of Zak George.

Picture a dog bowling without stepping over the line. Or fetching a beer from the fridge. Or pedaling a bicycle built for two – you and your dog. Dog tricks are without limits when you have creative dog trainer Zak George on your side.

Zak is on a mission to bring out cool tricks in dogs and bolster the bond between canines and their people.
He first gained attention a few years ago by posting videos of dogs performing tricks on YouTube. To date, more than three million have viewed these videos.

He also wows audiences at dog-Frisbee competitions with Venus, his athletic and agile border collie. Together, they won five extreme dogs competitions in their first five years. They have appeared on Animal Planet and Discovery Channel, in the Extreme Canines Stunt Dog Show and The Ultimate Dog Championship.

And now, Zak and Venus team up to host a novel dog show called “Super Fetch” that debut Oct. 3 on Animal Planet. This is no ordinary pet show. Let’s let Zak explain:

“There are a lot of shows out there that help people correct bad or unwanted behavior in their dogs,” says Zak. “I wanted to do a show that brings out the hidden talents in dogs. That’s how we came to create the Super Fetch show.”

“Super Fetch” airs Saturdays (8 p.m. EST/PST), showcasing Zak’s special talent of bringing out more fun-filled bond between people and their dogs. In one episode, he works with an owner of a hair salon on training his small dog to fetch fresh smocks for his customers. In another, he teaches a dog named Samantha to tandem bike ride with her owner. In a third, Zak trains a dog to take out the trash.

“I tell people when you train your dog, you need to focus on your relationship with them,” says Zak. “With dogs, it’s all about finding their favorite currency. It may be a special treat or a special toy. Find what your dog’s favorite currency is and use that when training them new tricks.”
