In 8th grade, I let a girl from my Spanish class borrow my favorite CD. We weren't really friends. We weren't really acquaintances. To tell you the truth I don't remember her name or what she looks like.
The point is, the girl kept forgetting to return the CD to me, and finally--when she did--there was a piece of candy smeared on it (red Jolly Rancher, her favorite), and it didn't work anymore. True story.
After that incident, I did not let anyone borrow anything, leading many to believe that I stayed true to the only-child stigma of selfishness.
But what if there was a way to redeem the hope of the Jolly-Ranchered-CD-people? Like, on the Internet?
ReturnMyPants.com is there for that reason. Ignore the fact that they use the Papyrus font (well, don't, but just practice civil inattention). Make an account and you can track who is lending and who is borrowing.
At last, a Web way to get a hold of the whole annoying magical process of sharing.
