In this 10th of a series, we'll take a look at the Indianapolis Colts' needs in the 2009 NFL Draft at the linebacker position:
The 10th part of the look at the Colts 2009 NFL Draft will focus on the linebackers, an area where the team has been relatively active since the end of last season.
The Colts last season started Gary Brackett in the middle for a fourth consecutive season, with third-year veteran Freddy Keiaho and second-year veteran Clint Session starting on the outside. Keiaho became a free agent following the season and has not been re-signed, with Session expected to move to Keiaho's old weakside position and second-year veteran Philip Wheeler – a 2008 second-round draft selection – moving to Session's old strongside position.
The team recently re-signed five-year veteran Tyjuan Hagler, who has started periodically the last two seasons and who can play all three spots. They also signed Adam Seward, a four-veteran from the Carolina Panthers, to back up Brackett in the middle.
