A recent study has shown that per-capita, Utah is the largest consumer of Internet Porn!

Yep, you heard that right, they love themselves some porn!  Did you realize that the porn is a $12.5B industry?  That is $12,500,000,000 and almost $3,000,000,000 of that is from online porn.

The author of the report, Ben Edelman, took at look at peoples online porn subscriptions and linked them up to income, zip codes and even the value of online memberships and came up with something really interesting - Utah has the highest per-capita consumption of porn in the country.

That's right, that cute little old square state over there that's filled with hate against the homos likes to buy porn....and especially those with broadband.  5.74 homes per thousand with broadband internet buy porn online.  Now don't worry about those people with dial-up or less than broadband, they're still number 1 with 1.74 per thousand homes subscribing to porn.  Illinois is somewhere between Virginia at 1.0 and North Dakota at 0.69 per thousand (apparently there was a lot of bunching)

But what about those crazy Mormons.  First they deny that they had anything to do with Prop 8 in California and then it turns out they did.....and now they're using their "internal email system" to get their Illinois congregants to call State Representatives to vote NO on HB223.....I'm surprised that they can get their hands out of their pants and rally the troops.

Here is a brief description of Illinois HB2234:

Creates the Illinois Religious Freedom Protection and Civil Union Act. Defines "civil union" as a legal relationship between 2 persons, of either the same or opposite sex, established in accordance with the Act

Don't just sit there and let them change the vote in Illinois like they did in California!  CALL YOUR STATE REPRESENTATIVE and tell them to vote YES on HB2234 and that you support Civil Unions!
